Huawei which had recently launched its first smartphone with gigantic 48 Mp camera Nova 4 is not yet done with its unveiling new smartphones this year. Now the company further expanding its smartphones portfolio by announcing Huawei P Smart 2019 which got a lot of rumours mill for three months.

The new mid-range smartphone P Smart(2019) gone official in the UK and also listed the phone in European countries. The key highlights of the smartphone are powered by Kirin 710 SoC. And it is backed by a “glossy ceramic-like texture”.

Speaking about the specifications, The Huawei P Smart(2019)  features a 6.21-inch Full HD+ waterdrop notch display with 19:5:9 aspect ratio and over 90% screen-to-body ratio. As per AndroidCentral, the DewDrop display on P Smart (2019) boasts an Eye Comfort Mode that helps reduce the amount of blue light emitted from the screen. As said, The handset is powered by Kirin 710 SoC paired by 3GB RAM. It is speculated that the phone could also available in with 4 GB RAM as well.

For photography, The handset has a dual rear camera setup with a combination of 13 MP primary camera and 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, There is a single 8MP shooter on the front. However, there’s also a variant of P Smart 2019 which comes with a 16 MP camera on the front. This variant carries model number POT-LX1RUA/POT-LX3 and is likely to come with 4 GB RAM.

The handset comes with 64 GB of storage onboard, and, it is preloaded with EMUI 9.0 which is based on Android 9.0 Pie. To make sure that the phone ticks it is backed by a 3400 mAh battery which draws power from a micro USB port. For biometrics, the phone has a fingerprint scanner on the back.

Price and Availability

The Huawei P Smart(2019) will be available in next year starting with the UK on January 11, 2019. The company will be selling it through retailers including the Carphone Warehouse, EE and O2, and pricing will be announced closer to the release date. As it is a mid-range smartphone this device could cost between 15k to 20k. The smartphone is available in Midnight Black, Turquoise Blue, and Aurora Blue colour options.
