Being waiting for the unveiling of latest flagship smartphone  Mate 20 series from Huawei. The Chinese multinational silently unwrapped its one more flagship device. Huawei Y9 (2019) is Now Official with dual camera Setup on Each Side. The smartphone is the successor of the Y9(2018) which was launched with quad cameras.

The Huawei Y9(2019) has surfaced on TENNA listings just a week ago with its images and specifications. But things are now finally official. Though there is no official word, the smartphone is expected to be available later this month starting with China. Buyers will be able to choose from colour options like Midnight Black, Blue Swarovski, and Aurora Purple.

Moving to the specifications, he Y9 (2019) flaunts a 3D Arc Design and sports a 6.5-inch FullView Display that has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The handset is hooked with a Kirin 710 octa-core SoC paired with 4GB and 6GB of RAM. The device is available in two storage variants namely 64GB and 128GB, and both support microSD cards to further expand the memory. To make the phone more amazing, the phone comes with a flashy two-toned colour finish.

On the imaging duties, the Huawei Y9(2019) has a pair of dual cameras on the rear side it has a combination one 13 MP and one 2 MP camera, whereas, the dual camera setup on the front is a combination of one 16 MP and one 2 MP camera. The cameras also come with AI-based features like AI 3D Lighting and AI Scene Recognition.

On the software front, The Huawei Y9 (2019) will launch with Android 8.1 Oreo under Huawei’s own EMUI 8.2. The phone ticks by a 4,000mAh battery, it also comes with GPU Turbo which is a graphics acceleration technology that improves the graphics performance by 60% while reducing power consumption by 30%. The Huawei Y9 (2019) comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back along with Fingerprint 4.0 identification technology that lets users “unlock the device in a remarkable speed of 0.3 seconds”.
