Infinix Smart 5 launch in India is seemingly on the cards and the company may announce the latest phone under the ‘Smart’ series in the country next month. To recall, the Infinix Smart 5 went official in Nigeria back in August 2020 with the 6.6-inch HD+ display, 6,000mAh battery, and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, among other things. 
A new MySmartPrice report hints that Infinix Smart 4 Plus successor will launch in India in mid-February. Hong Kong-based smartphone manufacturer is yet to reveal the India launch details of the smartphone. Going by the report, Infinix Smart 5 will go on sale exclusively via Flipkart, and the company is expected to start promoting the phone from February 7th through teasers on the e-commerce platform.
Infinix Smart 5 Specifications
Infinix Smart 5 features a 6.6-inch display with HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. The screen has a waterdrop notch. Under the hood, the smartphone will draw its power from an unspecified octa-core processor. It is paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB of native storage. Storage can be further expanded via a microSD card slot.
For selfies, there will be an 8MP front camera housed inside the waterdrop notch. At the back, there is a 13MP primary camera and a couple of 2MP sensors.

The smartphone will house a 6000 mAh battery and also run on Android 10 (Go Edition) out of the box. Connectivity features include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
