Tech giant Apple has launched the iPhone SE (2020) on Wednesday. The highlighting features include Apple A13 Bionic SoC, a Touch ID fingerprint sensor. Read on to know about iPhone SE 2020 specifications, price and availability details.

iPhone SE (2020) Price in India, Availability 

iPhone SE (2020) is priced at Rs. 42,500 for the 64GB storage variant while the 128GB storage model comes with a price tag of Rs. 47,800. The premium model with 256GB storage costs Rs. 58,300. However, there are no details on the availability of iPhone SE (2020) in India.

iPhone SE (2020) Price in US, Availability 

In the US, the price of the iPhone SE (2020) starts at $399 (approx. Rs. 30,600) for the 64GB variant whereas the 128GB model costs $499 (approx. Rs. 38,200). The 256GB variant, on the other hand, is priced at $549 (approx. Rs. 45,000). iPhone SE (2020) will be available in Black, White, and (Product) RED colors. Talking about the availability details of iPhone SE (2020) in the US, the pre-orders will start from 5 PM PDT on Friday, April 17, and it will go on sale from Friday, April 24.

iPhone SE 2020 Specifications

In terms of specs, the iPhone SE (2020) comes with a 4.7-inch Retina HD IPS LCD display that has 750×1334 pixels resolution, peak brightness of 625 nits, Dolby Vision and HDR10. There is also a True Tone tech to adjust white balance. Other display features on the device include Haptic Touch support, seen in the latest iPhone models.

Powering the device is an Apple A13 Bionic chip that is packed on the earlier launched iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and the iPhone 11 Pro Max. In the camera department, the new iPhone SE 2020 sports a 12-megapixel camera sensor (f/1.8 aperture + OIS) on the rear with a LED True Tone flash with Slow Sync. The camera is capable of shooting 4K videos at up to 60fps, and Smart HDR for photos. The handset also has a sapphire crystal lens cover protecting the rear camera. Even with the single rear camera, the phone has a Portrait mode feature that uses computational photography enabled by the Neural Engine on the Apple A13 Bionic SoC. Upfront, the phone flaunts a 7-megapixel camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

Connectivity options on the phone are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ax, Wi-Fi calling, NFC, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a Lightning port. There is no 3.5mm headphone jack. The new iPhone also has the Touch ID button. Further, it is protected by a sapphire crystal.
