iQoo 7 series confirmed to launch in India this month

iQoo 7 initially launched in China in January. Now, the brand has announced that it will be launching the iQoo 7 lineup in India this month. After several leaks and rumors, the flagship phone from Vivo’s sub-brand is finally making its way to India.

The company is marketing the upcoming iQoo 7 series with the hashtag #MonsterIsComing. iQoo 7 is expected to be priced under Rs. 40,000 in the Indian market. Recently, Director at iQoo India, Gagan Arora, hinted that alongside the iQOo 7, the company will also announce the BMW M Motorsport edition in India. 

As for the specifications, we are not expecting any changes in the smartphone’s specs and features from what was launched in China. Here’s everything we know about the iQoo 7 smartphone China variant.

iQoo 7 Specifications

iQoo 7 was launched in China with a 6.62-inch full HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and a 91.4 percent screen-to-body ratio. The smartphone will pack an octa-core Snapdragon 888 SoC along with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. iQoo 7 will be powered by a 4,000 mAh battery with a whopping 120W fast battery charging. 

The company has added a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, a 13-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, and a 13-megapixel portrait sensor with an f/2.46 lens at the back of the smartphone. The phone features a 16-megapixel camera sensor at the front with an f/2.0 lens. Redmi 4 is expected to pack a fingerprint scanner at the back, accelerometer, gyroscope, proximity, and compass sensors.

It boots Android 11 with OriginOS skin out of the box. The smartphone will come with 5G, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth v5.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C port as connectivity options. The phone comes in Black and Latent Blue colour options while the BMW M Motorsport edition has three colour stripes on its white back panel that represent the company.
