iQOO Z5x set to launch on October 20

Recently, Vivo’s sub-brand announced the iQOO Z5 and it is set to release a new device under the same Z-series. The handset, called the iQOO Z5x, will be unveiled in China on October 20.

The company has confirmed the launch date on Weibo. The poster showcases the design of the forthcoming Z-lineup smartphone. The teaser indicates that the iQOO Z5x rear panel will include a dual AI camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor. An orange variant is shown in the teaser image. Further, the smartphone has been tipped to pack a massive 5,000mAh battery.

IQoo’s online store is now accepting pre-orders for the iQoo Z5x. This device is available in two colors – black and orange. This means the phone will come in two colours. At the bottom of the smartphone, you will also find a USB-C port, a speaker, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

iQOO Z5x Specifications (Rumoured)

The iQOO Z5x has been certified by TENAA with the model number V2131A. An IMEI certification has revealed that iQOO Z5x will be the moniker for this model number. Additionally, the listing mentions a 6.58-inch TFT display for the handset. On the front, the phone is fitted with an 8MP camera.

According to leaked specifications, the iQOO Z5x is expected to come with 6 GB and 8 GB RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage. Among the features of the device are a microSD card slot and a fingerprint reader on the side. Additionally, it will feature dual rear cameras that comprise a 50-megapixel and a 2-megapixel lens. It is tipped to be powered by a 4880mAh battery that supports 44W fast charging.

It measures 163.95×75.30×8.5mm and weighs 169 grams. Earlier leaks suggested that the smartphone would be fueled by a MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor.
