The phone comes in three different variants.
OnePlus 6 will have three different variants in storage – 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. There will be two different RAM options – 6GB and 8GB. The flagship also comes with the latest and most powerful processor by Qualcomm – Snapdragon 845. OnePlus 6 will be available in three colours – Midnight Black, Mirror Black, and Silk White.
A better design featuring an iPhone X like a notch:
The 6.3-inch 19:9 OLED display comes with a notch just like iPhone X. Even the aluminium unibody design has been replaced by employing Gorilla Glass 5 all around, and it gives the smartphone a metal or say ceramic type feel. Another beautiful thing about design is the minimal bezels.
New gesture-based interface and controls.
OnePlus 6 has not only improved design but also new gesture-based interface which makes the phone much easier to use. The swipe-and-hold gesture will feature the apps you have been using recently and the swipe up from the centre will send you to the home screen.
Better dual cameras.
If talking about the megapixels then both the primary and secondary cameras are similar to that of its predecessor. The sensor size of its dual cameras has been increased to a pixel size of 1.22μm. The dual-camera setup also has optical image stabilization.
OnePlus still doesn’t have wireless charging.
The disappointing thing is Oneplus 6 doesn’t support wireless charging. But it has an excellent feature of dash charging high (speed charge) with which it can charge full within 40 min. Except, this every feature almost beatiPhonee X features.
The smartphone will be available from 22 May. In India, the phone is expected to cost somewhere between Rs 39,000 to Rs 42,000.
