As scheduled, itel has announced itel A47 smartphone in India. This is the company’s latest 4G phone and it runs on Android Go Edition of the Android Pie OS.

Priced at Rs. 5499, itel A47 will be available for buyers in Ice Lake Blue and Cosmic Purple colours with a gradient finish. The phone will go on sale via Amazon.in from February 5th.

itel A47 comes with a 5.5-inch LCD IPS screen and is fuelled by an unspecified quad-core processor (believed to be a Unisoc processor) clocked at 1.4GHz. It is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage which is expandable up to 32GB with microSD. The handset ships with Android 9.0 Pie, Go Edition out of the box.

On the rear, you get a 5-megapixel camera sensor and a VGA secondary sensor with a LED flash. On the front, it has a single 5-megapixel sensor at the front for selfies.

It features a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner that can unlock the phone in 0.2 seconds and also has face unlock support. All these are backed by a 3000mAh battery.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports 3.5mm jack, FM Radio, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, and a micro USB port for charging the device.
