Jio Phone Next price revealed, can be purchased with Rs 1,999 down payment

Reliance and Google have finally released the budget entry-level smartphone JioPhone Next in India. Pricing details have been revealed for the handset, which will be available starting Diwali. Customers can purchase the phone for as low as Rs. 1,999 with Reliance’s easy EMI plans. These EMIs start from as low as Rs. 300 per month. JioPhone Next price in India, availability

The JioPhone Next is available in India for a price of Rs. 6,499 without any EMI options. There is also the Easy EMI option, for which users must pay Rs. 1,999 upfront (plus Rs. 501 processing fees), and pay the remaining balance in easy EMIs.

Jio has confirmed that the JioPhone Next will be available for buyers starting November 4, which is Diwali. Users can purchase the smartphone by visiting the nearest Jio Mart digital retailer or visit the website and register. Registration can also be done on WhatsApp and users need to send a ‘Hi‘ to 7018270182 to start the process. Buyers will receive a confirmation of registration once the process is complete. In order to collect their JioPhone Next, customers will need to visit their local JioMart retailer.

Jio says that it has partnered with more than 30,000 retail outlets throughout India to make JioPhone Next easily accessible. In addition, it offers paperless digital financing, reaching every corner of India.

The JioPhone Next uses Pragati OS, an optimized version of Android designed for Indian users. The device has a 5.45-inch HD+ display with a screen resolution of 720×1,440 pixels, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and an anti-fingerprint coating. The phone is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 215 processor with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 512GB.

The JioPhone Next comes with a 13-megapixel camera on the back and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. In addition to portrait mode and night mode, the rear camera will include custom India-augmented reality filters preloaded. There is a 3,500mAh battery on board. A Micro-USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v4.1, Wi-Fi, and dual-SIM (Nano) slots are provided as connectivity options. The device is equipped with an accelerometer, light sensor, and proximity sensor. It will also come with automatic software updates.

Google Assistant is built into the JioPhone Next to help users operate the phone with commands like “open app” and “manage settings.” 

Additionally, there is a ‘Read Aloud’ function, which reads out on-screen content. In this way, users can listen to content in a language they are familiar with. The JioPhone Next also includes a ‘Translate’ function allowing users to translate texts into any language.
