George Zhao, CEO, Honor revealed a poster on Weibo confirming the launch of Honor 9X on July 23 in China. Some of the key specifications are also revealed at the same time. Another report also revealed an image of Honor 9X retail box. The device is not showing an image of the smartphone or any specifications of it.

Based on the rumours came out earlier, Honor 9X is to come with a pop-up selfie camera and a notch-less display. There is also a Pro version of the Honor 9X available which may come with quad rear cameras similar to that of Honor 20.

Honor 9X comes powered with a 2.27GHz octa-core Kirin 810 chipset. This new processor was brought by the company last month with Huawei Nova 5 last month. The all-new Kirin 810 chipset is the second 7nm-based chipset from the company after the flagship Kirin 980 chipset.

The Kirin 810 processor can be compared with the Snapdragon 730 processor which is being used in Samsung Galaxy A80 and Redmi K20 smartphones. Both these smartphones are set to launch in July in India. Honor 9X is also expected to come with a price range of Rs.15,000 – Rs,20,000 approximately.
