Leaked Launch Invite Reveals Xiaomi Mi MIX 3 5G Version Launch Date

Xiaomi is expected to unveil the Mi Mix 3 5G at Mobile World Congress 2019, which will take place from February 25 to 29. We believe that 5G will be the focus of MWC 2019. Invitations leaked recently show that the tech giant will host the event on February 24 which will take place in Barcelona. The invitation to the event has been leaked by popular leakster Venya Geskin, but he deleted the tweet after posting it.

The leaked poster contains the text; “We make it happen,” with the official Mi logo but it did not state anything explicitly. The leakster’s deleted tweet had read, “Exclusive: Xiaomi will hold an event on February 24, possibly for Mi Mix 3 5G.” However, it is still unclear why he deleted the tweet but we believe the company wants to keep the topic at bay until it is ready to promote the launch event. Another chance is that the Venya Geskin may have found the news is fake. Even Xiaomi hasn’t announced anything about it officially.

Mi Mix 3 5g Launch Date

No doubt, the company will launch a 5G version of the Mi Mix 3. A couple of months ago, Xiaomi showcased the phone in China Mobile Partner Conference and also released a video demonstration of the Mi Mix 3 5G in action alongside the Mi smart bedside lamp. The Mi Mix 3 5G version is fuelled by a Snapdragon X50 modem and was said to have download speeds of up to 2 Gbps. The device could be exactly the same as the regular Mi MIX 3 which was launched a few months back.

Talking about the specifications of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 5G version, it is expected to sport a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED bezel-less display, Qualcomm’s flagship processor, and in-display fingerprint scanner. Some rumors also claimed that Mi Mix 3 to come with up to 18W fast charging support. In the camera department, the device will dual-camera setup, consisting of a 12-megapixels primary sensor and a 12-megapixels secondary sensor. Up front, the device might feature a 24-megapixel selfie camera.
