Lenovo Z5 Pro teaser reveals with hardware-level security, manual slider ahead of the launch

Lenovo Z5 Pro which has been rounding up with the numerous leaks has finally confirmed with its launch date that is on November 1. Ahead of the launch company’s vice president Chang Cheng posted teaser posters on Chinese social networking site, Weibo confirming Lenovo Z5 Pro launch date. The teaser hints at a manual slider design to reveal the camera module that is identical to the recently launched Xiaomi’s premium smartphone Mi Mix 3.The handset could sport a dual camera setup on the front and also feature trending In-display finger print sensor.

Previously the company announced the launch date on October 1st however, they missed the date. The company is yet to reveal the details of the launch event and whether it will be a global launch. A video that recently spotted on Weibo, showcases the slider mechanism of Lenovo Z5 Pro works.

While we get into the poster details that is released yesterday, The company is all set to include a chipset on the Z5 Pro for hardware level security encryption. The image shows a chipset in the middle of a motherboard teasing the word “Turbo”.

From recently revealed renders we already came to know that the upcoming smartphone would come with a manual slider. While the new teaser confirms the same in detail. According to the teaser poster, the upcoming Lenovo Z5 Pro will use a double helix for the manual slider with six guidance sensors (reports GizmoChina). The poster also mentions that the slide mechanism can last more than 300,000 times.

As per rumours concerned, the smartphone will feature a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor paired with Adreno 509 GPU. The device comes with 6GB RAM along with 64GB/128GB internal storage expandable via a microSD card.

For photos, the device sports a dual camera setup on the back consisting of two 16MP sensors. On the front, it features an 8MP camera with an aperture of f/2.0 for taking selfies. Both the camera modules can shoot videos in 4K resolution.

The device would be backed up by a 3,300mAh battery. The Lenovo Z5 Pro launch event will be held at the company’s global headquarters in Beijing, China on November 1.
