Managing Director of Xiaomi Taunts Technical Guruji For Attending Samsung Galaxy M Series Launch Event

Gaurav Chaudhary, known professionally as Technical Guruji, is an Indian YouTuber with million subscribers. Usually, he makes videos on smartphones and various technologies in Hindi. Gaurav Chaudhary became popular because of his interesting and informative videos on ‘Technology’.

Manukumar Jain Vs Technical Guruji

A short time ago, Gaurav Chaudhary posted a review of the latest Samsung M series on his channel. Indeed, he was also seen at the launch event hosted by Samsung India where he was seen launching the Galaxy M Series.

Coming to the point, this move by a YouTuber Gaurav Chaudhary (aka Technical Guruji) was not accepted by a lot of people including the CEO of Xiaomi India, Manu Kumar Jain, who felt that this could mean that Technical Guruji reviews are biased in nature. Being on the stage and promoting some brands product is very wrong since he is a reviewer who is supposed to help people make the right choice. Most of the consumers rely on reviews by trusted YouTubers before buying any tech products, especially smartphones.

At the Samsung’s Galaxy M series launch event, Gaurav Chaudhary was seen praising the Galaxy M10 and Galaxy M20 for a good part. While many were disappointed at the Gaurav Chaudhary for favoring a company, the Tweet by Manu Kumar Jain got some attention too. Even though Manu Kumar Jain did not specifically mention who he was referring to, but his tweet made it quite clear.

Moreover, a day after the Galaxy M launch event, Gaurav Chaudhary posted a video on his Technical Guruji channel, where he broke a Redmi Note 7 and said it has poor build quality. However, he concluded the Redmi Note 7 has “amazing specs, but poor build quality.”

The interesting part here is Xiaomi has been showing off the Note 7 sturdy build quality even before the device launched. The problem lies in his assessment of the build quality of Redmi Note 7. A few days ago, we had seen a video where Redmi Note 7 used as a chopping board, crushes watermelon into pieces in durability tests.
