The company says the new smartphone doesn’t bear any buttons, speaker holes, charging port, and not even a SIM card slot. It seems to be taking the trend in to hike by trimming off the things on the device to its logical conclusion.

You might be in a doubt then how does it work? The answer is here. The new smartphone Zero uses touch-capacitive panels on the side as replacements for the conventional power and volume buttons. For the speaker, Meizu Zero uses a piezoelectric transducer under the display and the absence of a charging port means that it relies entirely on wireless charging. Further, the company promises, wireless charging speeds of up to 18W, nearly double the 9W speeds that Samsung offers.

The Zero phone even doesn’t sport SiM Slot either it is likely to use eSIM, similar to the new crop of Apple iPhones. In here the data transfer only relies on Wi-Fi and mobile networks.

Apart from this, The Device flaunts a 5.99 inch OLED display with an Under Display Fingerprint scanner at the bottom and a selfie shooter housed on the top.

The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 processor. For now, the company didn’t hint any details regarding RAM, storage, and battery.

For the camera, it offers dual rear camera setup comprising a 12MP rear camera with a wide angle lens and a 20 MP secondary camera setup with a Sony IMX350 sensor. On the front, There is a 20 MP selfie shooter with AI face unlock sensor. The device comes with an IP68 rating that means it is both dust resistant and water resistant.
