With the unveiling of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e are just a few days away, the CEO of the Xiaomi has shared teaser posters of the upcoming Mi CC9, hinting again at the smartphone’ impressive design and the camera setup. An earlier report already confirmed that the Mi CC9 will feature 32MP front camera.
Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun released a couple of teaser images for the Mi CC9, which shows a gradient glossy back panel with a triple rear camera setup aligned vertically on the top left corner. There is no physical fingerprint sensor on the rear confirming the presence of in-display fingerprint scanner. The edges are tapered for better grip and two speaker grilles and a USB Type-C port can be seen in the images.
Apart from that, Xiaomi CC product manager Lao Wei posted retail box of the upcoming Mi CC9 in his Weibo account. The retail box in the image shows a minimal white design, with the colorful ‘CC’ logo taking most part of the front.

Looks aside, the new Xiaomi Mi CC9 will pack a Snapdragon 730 chipset with an octa-core CPU. Three versions of the phone are reportedly on the way. The base model will have 6GB RAM and 128GB of native storage. A mid-range variant is expected to feature 8GB of RAM along with 128GB of native storage, and the top model is said to be equipped with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of native storage. A 48-megapixel primary sensor is rumored to grace the back of the Mi CC9’ triple camera setup, with a 32MP front-facing selfie snapper. There will be a 4000mAh battery with 27W fast charging recharged via USB-C that should provide all-day battery life.
The device will officially break cover on July 2 in home country China. There is no word on the India launch of the Xiaomi Mi CC9 and Mi CC9e smartphones.
