Moto e22, Moto e22i launched with Helio G37 SoC, 90Hz display

Motorola has announced two new smartphones under the Moto e entry-level smartphones series. Dubbed Moto e22 and the Moto e22i, these new devices pack a MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, 90Hz refresh rate display, 5000mAh battery, 16MP camera, a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

The Moto e22 costs €139.99 (approximately Rs 11,200) for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. Moto e22i, on the other hand, costs €129.99 (approx Rs 10,300) in the European markets. 

There are two color options available for the Moto e22: Crystal Blue and Astro Black. On the other hand, the Moto e22i will come in Winter White and Graphite Gray colour options.

Moto e22 and Moto e22i Specifications

Moto e22 and Moto e22i smartphones feature a 6.5-inch HD+ display panel with 90Hz refresh rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. These smartphones are powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G37 processor paired with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM and 64Gb internal storage.

On the rear, both phones have a 16MP primary rear sensor as well as a 2MP depth sensor. At the front, there is a 5MP camera. Powered by a 4020mAh battery, the Moto e22 and Moto e22i support 10W charging.

Both of these smartphones feature a water-repellant design, a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, a Type-C port, a dedicated micro-SD card slot, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Moto e22 runs Android 12-based MyUX whereas the e22i ships with Android 12 Go Edition. In terms of connectivity, these smartphones offer Dual-SIM, 4G, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5, and GPS. They weigh 172 grams and measure 163.95 x 74.6 x 7.99mm.
