Moto E7i Power gets certified by BIS, India launch seems imminent

Moto E7i Power India launch seems to be getting closer as the phone has appeared on the BIS certification website. A phone with model number XT2097-16 has been spotted by tipster Mukul Sharma on the certification site. This model is believed to be the Moto E7i Power as the Thailand variant bears the model number XT2097-14.

Looks like the Moto E7i has various model numbers, including XT2097-12, XT2097-13, XT2097-14, and XT2097-15, probably for different regions. Moreover, the XT2097-15 was spotted on Bluetooth SIG certification with the Lenovo K13 moniker. So, we can expect the Moto E7i Power to launch as Lenovo K13 in a few markets, including China. Unfortunately, there is no specification of the Moto E7i Power available on the BIS listing. Moto E7i Power

Moto E7i aka Lenovo K13 specifications

The Moto E7i Power (aka Lenovo K13) is tipped to arrive with a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1,600 X 720 pixels. It is tipped to pack an unspecified octa-core processor clocked at 1.6GHz alongside 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. In terms of software, it is likely to ship with Android 10 OS and weigh 200 grams.

For the camera configuration, there will be a dual-camera setup on the back, consisting of a 13MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor. For the front, there will be a 5MP shooter on for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options on the  Lenovo K13 are likely to include dual SIM support and a USB Type-C port for charging.

Talking about the design, the Lenovo K13 will have dual cameras arranged vertically on the top left corner. For security, it will feature a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. The volume rocker and power button are on the right side alongside an additional button, probably for Google Assistant.

Currently, we know this much about the unannounced Moto E7i Power and we can expect more information as we move closer to the launch. It is worth noting that Motorola is yet to reveal anything about the device and we recommend you take this with a pinch of salt.
