Motorola has announced the latest phone in India under its Moto G series. Dubbed as Moto G22, the new budget phone from Lenovo-owned Motorola comes with a high refresh rate display, 50MP quad-camera setup, a large battery with fast charging, and Android 12 OS. There is only one variant of the Moto G22 launched in India, which features 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Priced at Rs 10,999, Moto G22 will go on sale via Flipkart in Grey and Blue colour options.

Moto G22 comes with a 6.5-inch Max Vision display with an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720pixels and a 90Hz refresh rate. The handset is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G37 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. The device also has a dedicated microSD card slot. 

The smartphone has a quad-camera setup on the back comprised of a 50MP main camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro lens. The front camera on the device is 16MP. Moto G22 is powered by a 5000 mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging, compared to 15W on the global model. The Moto G22 offers business-grade security with ThinkShield for mobile. It also comes with a fingerprint scanner on the side. 

It weighs about 185 grams and measures 8.49mm thick. The phone also comes with a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a water-repellent design.
