Moto G22 unveiled with Helio G37 SoC, 90Hz display & quad-rear camera setup

A new Motorola G-series smartphone has been launched. The company has introduced the Moto G22 in the European market with a quad-rear camera setup, a 90Hz refresh rate, MediaTek Helio G37 SoC, and a 5000mAh battery. Moto G22 Pricing, Availability

There is only one storage option for the Moto G22, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Priced at €169.99 (approximately Rs 14,300), the phone comes in Cosmic Black, Pearl White, and Iceberg Blue colour options.

Moto G22 Specifications

The Moto G22 is equipped with a polycarbonate back. The handset sports a 6.5-inch Max Vision display with an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and a hole-punch cutout at the top center that houses a front camera. 

Powering the phone is MediaTek’s Helio G37 SoC. There is 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The storage can be expanded using a microSD card. The G22 carries a 5000mAh battery as well with 10W charging support. 

In the back, there is a quad-camera setup with a 50MP primary camera sensor alongside an 8MP ultrawide camera and two 2MP sensors for depth and macro. On the front, there is a 16MP sensor for selfies.

On the software front, the handset runs Android 12 OS out of the box. Among its other features are a USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and a single speaker. The device weighs about 185 grams and is 8.49mm thick.
