Motorola Could Unveil Moto Z3 With 5G Mod on August 2nd Event

In Chicago event on August 2, Motorola is expected to reveal the new smartphones Moto One Power and Moto Z3. Motorola has posted a teaser on its YouTube channel and the launch event is scheduled for 2 PM local time on August 2nd in Chicago.

As per the Android Report, Along with the Moto Z3, the company will also launch a 5G mod for the device at the event. The Moto Z3 will be Verizon exclusive in the US and with the 5G mod, the device will be the first smartphone that can be upgraded to 5G and the Moto Z3 will obviously be the flagship device of the company this year. Furthermore, Moto Z3 is also claimed to be compatible with all the other Moto Mods, and the new 5G Mod will similarly work on previous Moto Z-series devices as well. Moto Mods are the upgrades to a Motorola phone, formed as a back cover, that can offer enhanced capacities like expanded battery life, and camera zoom They are connected to the main phone body with magnetic pins.

The specifications of the Moto Z3 are not revealed much by the company. But the device seems to be powered by Snapdragon 845 SoC along with Adreno 630 GPU equipped with up to 6GB RAM and internal storage of up to 128GB. The Moto Z3 is alleged to sport a 6.3-inch OLED Full HD+ display and the fingerprint scanner is mounted on the rear. The Z3 could be equipped with dual cameras on the rear, 12-megapixel camera at the rear and an 8-megapixel camera front with AI-based features like bokeh. The device is expected to be running on the Android 8.1 Oreo. Talking about the battery of Moto Z3, it might sport a 3300mAh battery and could support Qualcomm’s QuickCharge 4.0.
