Motorola P30 Note Arrives with 5,000mAh Battery & Notched Display

Lenovo-owned Motorola has launched the Motorola P30 Note in China. The device looks similar to the predecessor Motorola P30 in design and it is also from the same series, making it a bit more premium than the base variant. There is a notch on top of the P30 Note as per the new trend in the smartphone market.

Motorola P30 Note has a 6.2-inch LCD display with a resolution of 2246×1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18.7:9, but company claimed it as a 19:9 panel. The smartphone is powered by the 1.8GHz Snapdragon 636 octa-core processor coupled with 4GB and 6GB RAM options based on Android 8.0 Oreo and Adreno 509 GPU. The device comes with an inbuilt storage of 64GB with the dedicated microSD card slot to expand up to 256GB. There is a massive 5,000 mAh battery that is powering the Motorola P30 Note.

On the camera department, the Motorola P30 Note features dual rear camera setup with 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel. The primary 16-megapixel sensor has a f/1.8 aperture and while the secondary sensor has an f/2.2 aperture. Up front, there is a 12-megapixel selfie sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 1.25um pixel size.

Connectivity features of the Motorola P30 Note include 4G VoLTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4GHz and 5GHz, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS+GLONASS and SB Type-C port. The dimensions of the device are 156 x 76 x 8.4 mm, and weighs 198 grams.

The Motorola P30 Note is priced in China at CNY 1,999 (approx. Rs. 20,700) for the 4GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage variant, and CNY 2,299 (approx. Rs. 23,800) for the 6GB RAM + 64 GB internal storage variant. It is made available in Mercury Black color option, and the smartphone is already on sale in China. As part of the introductory offer, Motorola is bundling the JBL headphone with the phone.
