Motorola P40 Leaked, Reveals 48-Megapixel Rear Camera, Snapdragon 675 SoC

It seems Lenovo-owned Motorola obtaining a new trend of punch-hole camera. The upcoming Motorola’s flagship, P40 was leaked in renders recently and the device was seen featuring a punch-hole camera for selfie. Now, the same smartphone has leaked once again and revealing the specification of the phone.

The device will launch with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 675 chipset based on the 11nm node. There will be a 6.2-inch HD+ IPS display will sit on the front with a camera hole in the upper left corner of the screen while the hole houses a 12MP f/1.8 lens.

The chipset will be coupled with 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage (Either 64 or 128GB of internal storage). The Motorola P40 will sport an AI-packed 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 sensor and secondary 5-megapixel sensor with f/1.75 aperture.

Furthermore, the device will support NFC and will ship with latedt Android 9.0 Pie out of the box. The smartphone will have massive 4,132 mAh battery.

The tipster has also posted an render of the Motorola P40 and it is very similar to the previous leak from OnLeaks. The render shows a phone with the punch-hole camera on the top left edge of the screen to sport the selfie sensor. The slightly thicker bottom chin now houses the Motorola branding. The dual camera setup is aligned vertically at the rear and below this, there is a circular Motorola batwing logo, which also doubles as the fingerprint sensor. On the right edge of the phone, there are power and volume buttons.
