Motorola P50 Set to Launch Next Week, Key Specs Revealed

Lenovo-owned Motorola is said to launch its Motorola P50 smartphone in China next week. Ahead of the official launch, a lot of details have been revealed online. Interestingly, the Motorola P50 specifications are similar to the Motorola One Vision. This is what has led to the belief that this could be the rebranded version of the Motorola One Vision.

Lenovo Group’s Vice President has shared a new image of the smartphone on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, revealing major hardware specifications of the phone. As you can see in the teaser, the upcoming Motorola P50 will have a 6.34 inches Full HD+ display with a resolution of 2520 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone will have 128GB of internal storage.

On the camera front, the upcoming Motorola P50 will sport a dual rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor that has f/1.75 aperture and 1.6micron pixel size. On the front, the smartphone will carry a 25-megapixels selfie camera in the punch-hole cut-out in the top-left corner. The camera features include features like night scene mode, intelligent scene recognition, and 4K video shooting.

As of now the battery capacity and Android version are unknown. But we expect the handset to run Android 9 Pie OS out of the box. The company has also confirmed that the Motorola P50 will be launched in Blue and Brown colors in China.

The handset also includes moto gestures and Dolby sound. The connectivity features on the phone are Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C, dual 4G VoLTE, hybrid SIM slot.
