Nokia 2.3 Launch In India Teased By Company On Twitter

Now, the company has officially teased the imminent launch of its next budget smartphone in India.

Nokia Mobile India has taken to Twitter to tease the launch of the Nokia 2.3 in India. The company has posted two short teaser videos on the official Twitter handle. According to the first teaser, the upcoming Nokia phone will have great battery life. The second teaser hints at the great camera performance. Even though the teaser doesn’t reveal the phone name, we can assume that the teased upcoming phone is indeed the Nokia 2.3, considering it is one of the company’s recently launched camera-oriented budget phone with good battery life.

As the name suggests, the Nokia 2.3 will be the successor to the Nokia 2.2. Nokia 2.3 is priced at 109 Euros (Rs 8,625 approx.) in Egypt and it comes in Cyan Green, Sand and Charcoal colour options.

Nokia 2.3 Specifications

Nokia 2.3 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ display with 720 x 1520 pixels resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, the device gets powered by 2GHz quad-core MediaTek Helio A22 12nm SoC with IMG PowerVR GE-class GPU paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB storage. The storage is further expandable up to 400GB using an external microSD card.

It runs Android 9.0 Pie OS and the company is expected to upgrade it to Android 10 soon. It has 4000mAh battery that promises 2 days of battery life. The phone also comes with a dedicated Google Assistant Button. The connectivity options include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS + GLONASS, micro USB and 3.5 mm headphone jack. It measures 157.69 x 75.41 x 8.68mm and the weight is 183 grams.

As for the cameras, the Nokia 2.3 has a dual cameras on the rear that includes 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 2-megapixel secondary camera with an LED flash. The phone has 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture and support for Face Unlock, however there is no fingerprint sensor.
