HMD Global has slashed prices of many Nokia smartphones in India. The list of smartphones which get a price cuts includes Nokia 6.1, Nokia 5.1, Nokia 3.1, and Nokia 8 Sirocco. The entry-level phones have got price cuts from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1,500, whereas the Nokia 8 Sirocco has seen a massive price cut of Rs. 13,000.

Nokia 3.1 with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage variant, which was earlier available for Rs Rs. 11,999 is now being offered at Rs. 10,999 with a discount of Rs. 1000.

The Nokia 3.1 sports a 5.2-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The device is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 SoC and runs Android 8.0 Oreo as part of the Google’s Android One programme.

Nokia 5.1 with 32GB and 3 GB RAM variant handset also got a price cut. The device will now be available at Rs. 10,999, a price cut of Rs. 1,500, which were priced at Rs 12,499.

Nokia 5.1 features a 5.5-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2160 pixels and runs on Android v8.0. The device is powered by Octa core, 2 GHz, Cortex A53 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM. As far as the battery is concerned it has 3000 mAh. In terms of optics, the Nokia 5.1 has a 16 MP camera rear.

The Nokia 6.1 32GB storage variant of the smartphone, earlier available for Rs 14,999, can now be purchased for only Rs. 13,499, while the 64 GB variant which was priced at Rs 17,499, can now be purchased for Rs. 16,499.

In terms of specifications, Nokia 6.1 features a 5.5-inch full HD display. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. Nokia 6.1 sports Carl Zeiss branded 16MP primary camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. The phone has a 3,000mAh battery and it supports a USB Type-C port with fast charging.

The biggest decline was seen in the prices of Nokia 8 Sirocco. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is now priced at Rs. 36,999, has received the biggest significant price cut of Rs. 13,000. Nokia 8 Sirocco was previously available at a starting price of Rs. 49,999.

Talking about the specifications, the Nokia 8 Sirocco comes with a 5.50-inch display with a resolution of 1440 pixels by 2560 pixels. It is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core processor and it comes with 6GB of RAM. The phone packs 128GB of internal storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Nokia 8 Sirocco packs a 12-megapixel primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The Nokia 8 Sirocco is powered by a 3260mAh non-removable battery.
