Nokia 8.1 has been officially released in India by HMD Global, Today. The smartphone comes with a price of Rs 26, 999. The new phone from HMD Global offers a notched display with HDR10 support and it is powered by a Snapdragon 710 SoC and runs Android 9 Pie.

Nokia 8.1 comes with a 6.18-inch PureDisplay IPS LED panel with 2.5D curved glass and Full-HD+ resolution of 2246×1080 pixels. Under the hood is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and Adreno 616 GPU. The device has a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable via microSD card up to 400GB.
In terms of optics, the Zeiss-branded dual camera setup at the rear includes a 13-megapixel primary IMX363 sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 1.4 micron pixels, and a 12-megapixel secondary sensor. The cameras support both OIS + EIS and 2PD.
The Nokia 8.1 is an Android One smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. Connectivity options include dual-SIM card slots, Bluetooth, 4G LTE with VoLTE, and a USB Type-C port. There is a 3,500mAh battery with 18W fast charging.
Nokia 8.1 Availability
The Nokia 8.1 released in two variants Blue/Silver and Iron/Steel. The smartphone will be available from December 21 for a price tag of Rs 26,999. Potential buyers can grab the phone from Amazon India, Nokia online store and various mobile retailers across India.
The Nokia 8.1 will be up for pre-booking from December 10 via official Nokia online store and across select retail partners like Croma, Reliance, Sangeetha, Poorvika, Big C and MyG.
