Nokia 8.2 to Launch with 32-Megapixel Pop-Up Camera & Android Q

A new report suggests that Nokia might be working on a new smartphone dubbed as Nokia 8.2 which is the successor to the last year’s Nokia 8.1. What looks to be the successor to the Nokia 8.1 could be seen grabbing headlines in the next few days. Design-wise, the upcoming Nokia 8.2 will be a major upgrade by Nokia as the company is set to ditch the notch and going with the pop-up camera which is trending these days. If the report is to be believed, the Nokia 8.2 will be the first smartphone from HMD Global to come equipped with a pop-up selfie camera.

The company recently launched its first punch-hole display smartphone Nokia X71 in China. However, the Nokia X71 is yet to be launched in other markets. According to the report by MySmartPrice reports citing Ishan Agarwal, the Nokia 8.2 will feature a 32-MP pop-up selfie camera. Furthermore, the report also claimed that the smartphone will ship with Android Q OS out of the box.

Except for the pop-up selfie camera and Android Q operating system on Nokia 8.2, there are no details on other specifications of the device. The handset is expected to be fuelled by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series mobile platform. While the report is definitely plausible, it is always recommended to take it with a pinch of salt.
