Nokia X7 Leak Tips No Display Notch, Snapdragon 710 SoC

HMD Global which has already unveiled two variants of X-series namely Nokia X5 and X6 in the first half. According to the previous reports the corporate has already prepared to unveil its new smartphone called Nokia X7 moniker to Nokia 7.1 plus which is already surfaced in internet with a lot of leaks and rumours. Now a fresh leak which presents a new information that the new smartphone sports a large 6.9-inch display with 1080×2160 pixel resolution, a Snapdragon 710 SoC, a single selfie camera setup, and thin bezels on the left and right edge of the screen.

A blogger in weibo posted a set of photos of a white front panel suspected to belong to the Nokia X7. According to the photo, the Nokia X7 uses a symmetrical 18:9 full-screen design with a forehead and chin, the handset sports a  6.9-inch screen, that is quite larger than the previous Nokia 7 plus. The resolution of the display is 1080×2160 pixels, and the smartphone is reportedly powered by the Snapdragon 710 SoC. The handset is powered by the Snapdragon 660 SoC. The display panel shows a single selfie camera setup with a proximity sensor on either side of the earpiece. The smartphone is also said to support 18W fast-charging.

The leaked image shows panel without notch but we are not sure about it. Last month, the leaked photo appears to have a notched design which is alleged as a Nokia X7. Both the Nokia X5 and the X6 come with a notch at the front, so it is possible that the X7 will have a notch as well. So it is expected that Nokia X7 also line up with the same design. So, Take it as a pinch of salt

Expected specifications

The upcoming Nokia X7 is expected as midrange phone and is going to be placed right above the Nokia X6. According to the leaked reports, The handset would equip with a Snapdragon 710 chipset. This is quite a good processor and good upgrade to the Nokia 7 plus.

The handset is expected to start with 3 GB RAM and memory configurations could be in between 64GB to 128GB, and you can also expect the phone to come with a microSD card slot. This is just an assumption from previous phone features as there are no leaks regarding RAM and memory.

Finally, there will be a bigger battery than the X6, and it should also support Quick Charge. The fingerprint sensor will be placed at the back of the phone, as the leaked image leaves no place for one at the front. The launch date still to be revealed.
