Oneplus is gearing up to launch its much awaited next “Flagship killer” smartphone the Oneplus 6T.which is rumoured to unveil on October 16. The much-hyped smartphone Oneplus 6 which was launched back in the May this year is now receiving a temporary price drop in our country. Amazon India is hosting a Great Indian Festival between October 10 and October 15, where there are many products are coming with interesting prices.
The OnePlus 6 64GB will effectively be available at a reduced price tag of Rs. 29,999, down from its original price tag of Rs. 34,999 during the five-day sale. The Oneplus 6 is now can be purchased at flat Rs 5000 discount and the smartphone is available on the base variant that comes with 64GB internal storage. In addition, Amazon India will also be having some instant cashback discounts on SBI bank credit and debit cards, exchange discounts and more during the sale period.
For now, OnePlus 6 is available on Amazon India in 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB storage options, and is priced currently at Rs. 34,999, Rs. 39,999, and Rs. 43,999 respectively. However, OnePlus has traditionally been reluctant about giving price cuts on its devices, and during such sales, it usually offers cashbacks, additional exchange discounts, and more, but not a discount on the price tag. But Oneplus is facing a tough competition from Poco F1 and its aggressive price strategy, OnePlus may have had to rethink its own strategy in India.

OnePlus 6 specifications and features
The OnePlus 6 features a notched 6.28-inch full HD+ (2280 x 1080) display, with an aspect ratio of 19:9. It is powered by a latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC that has a maximum clock speed of 2.8 GHz. This is what makes the OnePlus 6 a super fast smartphone as well. The OnePlus 6 comes backed its two RAM options of 6GB and 8GB and storage variants of 64GB, 128GB and 256 GB.
On the optics front the OnePlus 6 sports a dual-camera module as its primary camera with one sensor of 16-megapixel with f/1.7 aperture and a supported camera module of 20-megapixel. The 16-megapixel camera now comes with Optical Image Stabilisation and EIS. On the front, OnePlus 6 is also a 16-megapixel camera with a f/2.0 aperture and EIS enabled for stable selfies. The OnePlus 6 does retain the Face Unlock feature and the fingerprint sensor of the OnePlus 5T and a similar 3300 mAh battery with DASH charging support.
The handset runs on OxygenOS based Android 8.1.
