OnePlus 6 Notification Page Goes Live on Amazon

The most-awaited OnePlus 6 is going to be Amazon-exclusive in India. To that end, the e-commerce platform has launched a dedicated landing page for the upcoming flagship smartphone. After the leak of pricing details and launch date, the upcoming flagship may launch in home market China on May 5 and will make it to the country by mid-May.

Further, OnePlus has announced a partnership with Marvel Studios for the upcoming movie and it’s speculated that the same as last year, when the company launched the OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition smartphone in collaboration with Disney India, there could be a special Avengers: Infinity War edition of the OnePlus 6 as well.The movie is slated to be released worldwide on April 27.

OnePlus 6 Registration Starts On Amazon India

Amazon India has put up a new OnePlus 6 page. The page allows users to register themselves to be notified when the OnePlus 6 is launched. Users can click on the ‘Notify Me’ button to get all news about the upcoming OnePlus 6 before the smartphone launches.

It has not revealed anything about the price of the phone yet. The page also misses the India release date and specifications of the upcoming flagship. As the page has gone live, it is expected that the OnePlus 6 might be launched in India very soon.

 

OnePlus 6 New Design Revealed

Recently, OnePlus released a new teaser image which reveals that the new OnePlus flagship will come with a new material. We already know that the OnePlus 6 will come with an iPhone X-like notch and a 19:9 tall display.

There have been rumours about wireless charging and the device may come with a glass back. If not glass, then the OnePlus 6 will sport a ceramic back as ceramic also supports wireless charging feature.

The phone might be priced at Rs. 39,000

Further, there is no word on the pricing of the OnePlus 6 as well, but the smartphone is expected to start selling at Rs. 39,000, with its higher variants crossing Rs. 40,000.

Expected specification

One Plus 6 will reportedly sport a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a wide-screen aspect ratio of 19:9, 16MP + 20MP dual rear cameras, a 20MP front camera, and a 3,450mAh battery. It will feature three variants of 6GB RAM/64GB, 8GB RAM/128GB, and a humongous 12GB RAM/256GB option. It will run the Android Oreo-based Oxygen 5.1 OS and be powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor.

Early Access for Selected Users

OnePlus also launched a new community review program where 15 users will get an early access to the OnePlus 6. In exchange, the users will have to write unbiased reviews of the upcoming OnePlus 6 based on their user experience.

After the review is submitted, the reviewers will also get a free OnePlus 6 of their own. Users can submit an application form if they want to enrol in the community review program, called the Lab Program.
