Just after two days of Oneplus 6T global launch and just a few hours since its India price was announced, the company is already rolling out a software update to the phone. Although the handset goes on sale on November 1. Oneplus is pushing the OxygenOS 9.0.4 software update in its latest device. Which brings impressive improvements in camera in its Nightscape mode and also updates the phone’s Android security patch to November new software update will bring a few key changes in terms of features and software tweaks for the phone.
According to the update which is first spotted on the HDBlog there are key improvements on the Screen Unlock, come new navigation gestures, optimised standby power consumption and some general bug fixes.
There are improvements on the Nightscape mode which nothing but the pro-mode sprinkled with some computational photography. When shooting in low light, the camera bumps up the ISO and slows down the shutter speed. OnePlus 6T’s camera also gets added studio lighting to enhance face contour. Another notable change is the November 2018 Android security patch, which interestingly is rolling out a day earlier than the start of November.
Meanwhile the company already rolling out Open Beta 6 on the previous flagship Oneplus 6 will receive many of these features, including the popular Nightscape mode, which has been present on the OnePlus 6T out-of-the-box. And a relatively small change to the UI is the different ‘About Phone’ screen. where the screen shows the background picture along with well-positioned information on the software, status, build number and more.
The OnePlus 6T is price starting at Rs 37,999 for 6GB+128GB variant while the 8GB+128GB variant will retail for Rs 41,999. The top most variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will be available for Rs Rs 45,999.
