Today, a company’s Staff Member posted an interview with User Experience Lead, Crayon Hsiehhas. They shared some details about OxygenOS updates and improvements on the OnePlus 6T.

The device is said to arrive with a “whole new UI” experience on the OxygenOS and the company claimed that it will be the “most distinct and intuitive” version of OxygenOS yet. This update of brings advancements to features like Do Not Disturb.

Moreover, OnePlus 6T to come with advanced navigation gestures. So, whenever you swipe up in an app, the application window will follow your finger, making for a more natural experience. It’s also faster in two ways: with a quick flick from the bottom of the screen towards the right of your screen, you can change between 2 recently used apps. As there’s no navigation bar when using gestures, users weren’t able to double-tap the “recents” button to quickly switch between apps. This new gesture provides a quick and easy substitute.

As reported earlier, the OnePlus 6T will be launching with powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 and the company has added an AI-based algorithm that will allow the device to learn when you sleep, so it can minimize background usage and reduce power consumption accordingly.

Furthermore, the company’s representative also said that the OnePlus 6T will likewise get upgrades to the cameras, however, he says that he cannot share a particular data at this time, yet all will be uncovered once the OnePlus 6T launches.

The company had already confirmed that the OnePlus 6T will be unveiled on October 30, while it will become available for purchase on November 6.
