Ahead of Oneplus 6T launch a renowned Indian Tipster Ishan Agarwal had spotted the Purple coloured version of the smartphone along with Mirror Black and Midnight Black editions on the website of European retailer and Now he tweeted another post with an image of a screenshot that reveals clearly that official OnePlus support site with the new OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple model listed among other OnePlus devices.
As per now, the Oneplus 6T is going on sale with Mirror Black (with a glossy finish) and Midnight Black (with a dull finish) exclusively available on the Amazon India starting from today. The phone is available in various RAM and storage configurations, ranging from 6GB RAM and 128GB storage to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.
The company had not confirmed about its new colour variant arrival but it can be taken as solid information piece where the tipster tweet spot the Thunder Purple OnePlus 6T listed on the German Amazon soon after the launch event of the smartphone but later removed from the site. These proofs indicate that OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple will be made official soon.
The company likely reveal the new colour variant in the coming weeks. Where the image shared shows that the German edition of Amazon had listed the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple with 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage on pre-orders soon after the launch. The handset had carried a price tag of 579 euros. Where the Mirror Balck variant is also listed with the same RAM and in the same price tag. The snapshot also reveals that the OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple model will be released on Nov. 30.
Before the Oneplus 6T launch, a report from Phonearena claims that Oneplus 6T would remain purple colour exclusive to the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage variant. Possibly this could be a limited edition model.
To recall, Oneplus is known to introduce different colour variants in the weeks after the initial launch. In the previous year, we saw the Star Wars Limited Edition of the OnePlus 5T launched about a month after the phone was unveiled, while this year saw the Silk White and Red editions of the OnePlus 6 launch in the weeks following the main launch in May.
