OnePlus 6 is one of the popular flagship smartphones by OnePlus launched on May of this year and currently available in four color variants — Mirror Black, Midnight Black, Silk White and Marvel Avengers Limited Edition. But the new news coming from the smartphone giant OnePlus is that they are going to launch the OnePlus 6 dark red variant on July 2nd.
OnePlus tweeted the teaser of the dark red edition by giving a small hint on the twitter handler.

The new tweet from OnePlus on 29th June states that “Now initiating: C61422. Do you wish to continue?“. For those who are unaware of what the C61422 is, C61442 is an RGB code of dark red. If you Google this code, you will get a result of hex color that is dark red.
Moreover, prominent tech YouTuber MKBHD and leakster Slashleaks have also shared some images showing the OnePlus 6 Red Edition.

So by adding another color variant to the OnePlus 6, OnePlus made choice of another color for buyers. Still, the RAM and storage variants are not revealed yet. But we can expect a standard 6 GB RAM variant to be launched along with 64 GB of storage.
The OnePlus 6 is available in India in three variants, including the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant priced at Rs. 34,999, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant priced at Rs. 39,999, and the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model priced at Rs. 43,999.
On the other hand, OnePlus recently announced to offer Android software updates for two years after release and critical security updates for three years for their OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 6.
