OnePlus has started sending invites for an event in Barcelona during the MWC 2019 for its rare presence. The event is labelled as a “Reimagine”.There are speculations that the company could show off its latest flagship of Oneplus which is dubbed as Oneplus 7 and alongside some new products of the firm.
The media invite poster reads “Reimagine the future with OnePlus.”However, the event appears to be a closed affair and will probably be hosted to reaffirm terms with partners and media representatives. The poster possibly hints at the OnePlus 7 or even the OnePlus 6T 5G.
Further, we are hearing a number rumours regarding 5G phone of Oneplus which could be unveiled early this year. However, there is no confirmation about the next-gen smartphone could cost more than current line devices.
As per the previous multiple rumours, The much-anticipated Oneplus 7, the successor of Oneplus 6 will see a makeover in terms of design whereas the cameras are also speculated to see a bump. Recent reports suggest that it might as well include Sony’s 48-megapixel IMX 586 sensor with pixel binning capabilities for better low light performance. The device is expected to come with the latest Snapdragon X50 modem and a Snapdragon 855 chipset for processing.T he device might also come with the Warp Charge 30, present on the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. It may also carry the display fingerprint sensor as like Oneplus 6T.
Moreover, the company is also having plans to foray into the TV market that might be happening at the MWC event. To recall, CEO Pete Lau announced OnePlus is working on a smart television that will run the official Android version. This Oneplus smart Tv can be well connected with smartphones and offer advanced interlinking features with various services such as Netflix and others like current Android TVs.So it is widely expected that the firm could unveil its First Smart Tv or it may detail on its TV plans alongside the smartphone.
