OPPO A52 launched with 8GB RAM, quad rear cameras, 5000mAh battery

Oppo has been launching phones with a new zeal. After a few leaks and speculations, Oppo has announced another new smartphone called Oppo A52 in China. It is priced at 1599 Yuan (approx. Rs 17,500) and it will be available in Blue and Black color options.

Detailing on its specifications, the Oppo A52 has been launched with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a resolution with 2400 x 1080 pixels. It houses a  punch-hole selfie camera on the top left. There is also a side-mounted fingerprint sensor on the phone.

Under its hood, the smartphone makes use of a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with the Adreno 610 GPU. It is paired with 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage and has a microSD card slot for further expansion of storage up to 256GB with microSD.

On the imaging front, the Oppo A52 makes use of a 12-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture at its rear with an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide-angle lens, 2-megapixel depth sensor and 2-megapixel macro camera with 1.75μm pixel size, f/2.4 aperture. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The device gets juice from a 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging through USB Type-C. On the software front, it runs Android 10 OS with ColorOS 7.1 skin. The handset measures 162.0 x 75.5 x 8.9mm and it weighs 162 grams. Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C and 3.5mm audio jack.
