Oppo A55 5G officially launched in China; specs, features

Chinese smartphone maker Oppo has launched Oppo A55 5G as the latest phone in the Oppo A lineup of phones. Oppo A55 5G comes in a single 6GB RAM and 128GB storage option. It is priced at 1599 Yuan (approx. Rs 18,000) in China. Buyers can get the smartphone in Brisk Blue and Rhythm Black colors.Oppo A55 5g Announced

Oppo A55 5G Specifications and Features

The newly launched Oppo A55 5G flaunts a 6.5-inch HD+ display with 1600 x 720 pixels resolution, 90 Hz refresh rate, 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, and a peak brightness of 480 nits. 

Further, the smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 chip with a clock speed of 2.2GHz and supports SA/NSA dual-mode 5G network. It is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. However, if required, the storage can be further expanded up to 1TB via a MicroSD card. 

Talking about cameras, the phone houses a triple camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel main shooter with an f/2.2 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. Whereas, on the front, the device includes an 8-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0) nested in the waterdrop notch.

The smartphones are running the Android 11 operating system out-of-the-box along with the company’s latest ColorOS 11.1 custom user interface on top. As for the battery, it features a 5,000mAh battery that comes with 10W standard charging. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. As for connecting and I/O, it has 5G, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
