Expanding its A-series smartphone portfolio, Chinese-smartphone brand Oppo has announced two new smartphones in its Z-series lineup called Oppo A91 and Oppo A8 in China.
Oppo A91, Oppo A8 Price and Availability
Coming to the pricing, Oppo A91 is priced at 1,999 Yuan (approx. Rs. 20,280) in India. It will be available in three color options: Red, Black, and Blue colors. The Oppo A8, on the other hand, is priced at 1,199 Yuan (approx. Rs. 12,162). Both the smartphones will go on sale from December 26 in China. As of now, the company has not yet confirmed whether they are planning to launch the Oppo A91, Oppo A8 smartphones in India or other regions, but we can expect the smartphone to join the lineup in India as well.
Oppo A91 Specifications and Features
It flaunts a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and full-HD+ resolution. The display also has the support for an eye protection mode as well as DC dimming 2.0. Moreover, the smartphone comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
It will ship with Android 9 Pie with ColorOS 6.1 custom skin on top. The handset packs a MediaTek Helio P70 SoC. This phone will be available in 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage option.
In terms of camera, there are four sensors on the rear side of the device. The setup includes a 48-megapixel main camera, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle snapper, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. There is also a 2-megapixel sensor. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls.
It packs a 4,025mAh battery that supports VOOC 4 technology. The company claims that the 30W charger takes only 30 minutes to top up the phone’s battery by 50 percent.
Oppo A8 Specifications and Features
Specification-wise, the Oppo A8 is powered by MediaTek Helio P35 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage with an expandable storage expansion slot. The smartphone features a 6.5-inch HD+ LCD panel with an 89% screen-to-body ratio and a 19:9 aspect ratio.
Talking about the camera, Oppo has equipped the smartphone with tripe-rear camera setup of 12-megapixel primary sensor along with a 2-megapixel macro lens and a 2-megapixel depth lens. There’s an 8-megapixel front camera for selfies. The smartphone runs ColorOS 6.1 based on Android 9.0 Pie and is backed by a 4,230mAh battery.
