OPPO released its first foldable phone last year, the OPPO Find N. However, the phone was only available in OPPO’s home market and was not available elsewhere. Over a year after the launch of OPPO’s first foldable phone, it is working on its successor.
The OPPO Find N2 is expected to debut soon. While there is no information about the official launch date, some specs about the OPPO foldable phone have surfaced. The Find N2 has been spotted online in alleged screenshots revealing the specifications.
OPPO Find N2 Specifications
The OPPO Find N2 may be a compact foldable smartphone. There are expectations that it will launch soon in order to compete with the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4. Based on leaked specifications, the OPPO Find N2 has a model number is PGU110. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC.
Even though the screenshot does not confirm the moniker, it appears to be a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. Qualcomm is expected to launch the flagship SoC Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC very soon.
Based on the leaked screenshot, the phone will have 12GB of RAM coupled with 256GB of internal storage. Additionally, OPPO will include MariSilicon X Neural Processing Unit (NPU) inside, OPPO’s proprietary AI noise reduction, 4K ultra night mode video recording, etc.
There is no information about the phone’s display specifications except that it supports a 120Hz refresh rate. According to recent reports, the Find N2 will feature a 7.1-inch LTPO AMOLED foldable display. It will also be equipped with a 4520mAh battery. There is a possibility that the phone will have a vegan leather finish. Out of the box, it is expected to run ColorOS 13, which is based on Android 13.
Moreover, a fingerprint scanner will likely be integrated into the power button. A black, white, or green version of the phone may be available at launch. It is expected that the foldable phone will be released in December 2022 along with the Reno 9 series.
