Oppo is almost all set to launch its upcoming phone Oppo Find X smartphone at the event at Louvre in Paris, France next week. The smartphone brand is aiming to combine its premium flagship Find series after a hiatus of over four years with at least three new groundbreaking features in tow.

It looks like the new Oppo Find X will sport 5G support, a 5X dual camera zoom and new fast-charging technology from the company. Here’s a look at expected features of the Oppo Find X.

5X dual camera

Oppo Find X will come with a feature called 5X dual camera zoom, which the company had first announced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in 2017. This will use a module that uses a periscope structure to divert light 90-degrees through a prism into a hidden telephoto lens. OPPO says that the 5x dual camera module is only 5.7mm thick, which is even 10% thinner than a traditional 2x optical zoom lens in a smartphone.

Super VOOC charge

It will also include Super VOOC Flash Charge technology that was introduced at the MWC 2016. The company claims the new Super VOOC feature on the Oppo Find X will ensure a full charge for the phone in just 15 minutes. The brand new low voltage pulse algorithm and exclusive customized super battery developed by OPPO, that can fully charge a 2500 mAh battery.

A recent certification at the 3C in China revealed the same 5V/4A (20W) charger for the phone, same as the VOOC Flash Charge used in OPPO’s current phones.

Oppo Find X may arrive with 5G support

OPPO Find X is also confirmed to have support for the 5G network which could be the first smartphone in the world. Earlier this year OPPO announced 5G pilot program with Qualcomm Technologies, and it will be one of the first smartphone manufacturers to launch 5G handsets in 2019. Last month the OPPO Global Research Institute (Shenzhen) successfully demonstrated the world’s First 5G Video Call Demo using 3D Structured Light Technology.

As of now, no other details about the upcoming smartphone is known. Soon the details will be known once the phone goes official launch.
