Oppo Find X2 series launching in India on June 17: Here’s what to expect

Oppo has confirmed to launch its flagship the Oppo Find X2 series, in India on June 17. The confirmation comes after the brand shared the launch date on the official Twitter handle. Even though the Oppo Find X2 series includes Oppo Find X2, Oppo Find X2 Pro, Oppo Find X2 Lite, and the Oppo Find X2 Neo, it is not clear whether the company will launch all these four phones in India or just the Oppo Find X2 and Oppo Find X2 Pro that originally launched in March.

Oppo X2 Series India Launch

According to the Tweet, the Oppo Find X2 series will be launching in India on June 17 and the digital event will begin at 4 pm. The company is yet to reveal where the event will be streamed.

Earlier, the Oppo Find X2 12GB + 256GB model was spotted in an Amazon India listing. Now, the listing shows the phone as “currently unavailable”, the source code for the page showed a price tag of Rs 69,990 before being removed.

Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro Specifications

To recall, Oppo Find X2 and Find X2 Pro launched with a 6.7-inch Quad HD+ OLED 2.5D curved glass display with 3168 x 1440 pixels resolution, HDR10+, 120Hz refresh rate, 800 nits brightness, 1200 nits peak brightness, 100% DCI-P3 Color Gamut, Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. Both the handsets are fuelled by the 2.84GHz octa-core Snapdragon 865 7nm SoC coupled with Adreno 650 GPU.

Both the latest Find series devices run on Android 10-based ColorOS 7.1 and sports an In-display fingerprint sensor. In terms of battery capacity, the Find X2 is backed by a 4200mAh battery that supports 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charge while the Find X2 Pro packs 4260mAh battery with 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charge support.

In the camera department, the Oppo Find X2 Pro comes equipped with a 48MP primary camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, 7P lens LED flash, OIS + EIS, 48MP 120° ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, Sony IMX586 sensor, 3cm macro, 13MP periscope telephoto camera with f/3.0 aperture, 20x hybrid optical zoom, up to 60x digital zoom, OIS. It has a 32MP front-facing camera with f/2.4 aperture.

Oppo Find X2, on the other hand, sports a 48MP primary camera with Sony IMX689 sensor, f/1.7 aperture, LED flash, OIS + EIS, 12MP 120° ultra-wide sensor with f/2.2 aperture, Sony IMX708 sensor, 3cm macro, 13MP telephoto camera with f/2.4 aperture, 5x hybrid optical zoom, up to 20x digital zoom. On the front, both the smartphones have a 32MP selfie shooter with f/2.4 aperture.
