OPPO Reno 7A goes official with 90Hz display, Snapdragon 695, IP68-rating

In Japan, OPPO has announced the Reno 7A. This is the successor to the Reno 5A that was released last year. The Reno 7A comes with an IP68-rated body, a 90Hz AMOLED display, and a 5G-ready Snapdragon 6-series chip. Find out the specifications, features, and price of the OPPO Reno 7A below.

Priced at 44,800 Yen (approximately Rs 26,054), OPPO Reno 7A is offered in Starry Black and Dream Blue colors. The Reno A series phones are exclusive to Japan, so it is unlikely to release outside the country.

OPPO Reno 7A sports a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with an 89.4 percent screen-to-body ratio, FHD+ resolution, a 90Hz refresh rate, a 180Hz touch sampling rate, and 409ppi pixel density, and a punch-hole cutout. 

It is powered by the Snapdragon 695 chipset. It features 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is also a microSD card slot.Oppo Reno 7a

It has a matte finish rear and sports a triple camera setup. The camera system consists of a 48-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 2-megapixel depth assist lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. There is also a 16-megapixel selfie camera. 

The smartphone runs Android 11 OS-based ColorOS 12 on top. There is an in-screen fingerprint scanner for security. The device is IP68-rated dust and water resistance. It measures 159.7 x 73.4 x 76mm and weighs around 175 grams.
