Oppo Reno 8 4G launch date, specifications tipped

The Oppo Reno 8 4G appears to be Oppo‘s next smartphone under the Reno 8 lineup. A recent report revealed the design and the key specifications of the upcoming Oppo device. As per the new report published by Pricebaba, Oppo Reno 8 4G is scheduled to launch globally on August 15. Furthermore, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore provided additional renders and specifications for the device as well.

Oppo Reno8 4G is expected to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset and a 4500mAh battery. The phone will feature Oppo Glow design and have dual orbit light around its cameras at the back. 

Oppo Reno 8 4G reportedly comes with a 6.43-inch AMOLED display that offers a Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. This device has been rumored to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor and an Adreno 610 GPU. The device is expected to come in an 8GB RAM + 256GB storage model, and it may also support 5GB of virtual RAM.

According to the report, the Oppo Reno 8 4G will carry a 64MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP macro sensor. The phone will feature Oppo Glow design and have dual orbit light around its cameras at the back. Apparently, it will use a 32MP Sony IMX709 camera for selfies and video calls. It’s expected to come with a 4500mAh battery and support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging.

It will come pre-installed with Android 12-based ColorOS 12.1. The smartphone will come with Oppo Glow Design and will be offered in Dawnlight Gold and Straight Black colour options. In addition, it will feature a Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
