Poco C3 to launch with 13MP triple rear camera setup, up to 4GB RAM

Poco C3 is set to be launched on October 6, and prior to the official launch, the company has revealed an image of the upcoming budget smartphone, confirming a triple-camera setup on the rear. The Poco C3 is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi 9C that was launched in Malaysia in June of this year. Other than confirming the triple camera setup, the image also throws light on the 13-megapixel primary sensor.

Poco C3 Camera Setup

Poco India has posted a teaser image of the Poco C3 on its Twitter handle and it revealed the camera specifications of the device. The short 20-second video shared by the brand also disclosed that the 13MP primary lens will be paired with a macro shooter and a depth sensor. All these camera sensors are arranged in a square module along with the flash. The camera design is expected to remain the same as the Redmi 9C.

Even though other details of the smartphone hasn’t revealed, the Flipkart landing page of the Poco C3 shows that it will come with up to 4GB of RAM. Going by the recent leak, the 4GB + 64GB storage variant of the Poco C3 will be priced at Rs. 10,990 in India. Another teaser video shared by Poco also reveals that the smartphone will launch under Rs 10,000. The under Rs 10,000 model is likely to be the base model with 3GB of RAM.

Poco C3 Specifications

Poco C3 is expected to sport a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch. The phone reportedly features a 13MP f/2.2 primary sensor on the rear alongside a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, the phone is said to come equipped with a 5MP lens.

It will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G35 chipset. While the Redmi 9C launched with 2GB + 32GB model, the Poco M2 is said to come with 3GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB configurations. It is tipped to pack 5,000mAh with support for 10W charging via micro USB port.

That’s all that is know about the Poco C3 till now. Of course, all of this is just initial speculation and should be taken lightly until an official announcement.
