POCO F3 GT gets listed on e-retailer site ahead of launch

Earlier reports hinted that Xiaomi will unveil the Redmi K40 Gaming edition in India as the POCO F3 GT. So far, no date has been announced for the phone’s launch. Now, ahead of the launch, POCO F3 GT listing has been spotted on WelEletronics. We need to wait for the official announcement to know about the India launch details. 

According to the listing on WelEletronics, the POCO F3 GT will be made available for $1,299 (approx. Rs 95,000). The smartphone appears to have an incorrect price in the listing, as it is expected to be priced around Rs 25,000 in India.

Reports indicate that this device could be a rebranded version of the Redmi K40 gaming, released last month in China. So we are already aware of the specs of the phone.

POCO F3 GT Specifications

As per the listing, the POCO F3 GT will come with the same specs as the Redmi K40 Gaming phone. The phone features a 6.67-inch OLED screen with a Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It is said to be powered by a Dimensity 1200 chipset. In the memory department, the POCO F3 GT will come in 6GB of RAM and 128 GB UFS 3.1 storage. There is also a microSD card slot for additional storage. 

It will be backed by a 5,065mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The POCO F3 GT has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. It is not yet clear whether the device will have gaming triggers like the Redmi K40 Gaming. 

In terms of optics, the device will have a front-facing camera of 16-megapixel. The rear side of the phone will include a 64-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera.

Redmi K40 Gaming price in China starts at 1,999 Yuan (approx. Rs 23,000). The company is yet to announce anything officially; these pieces of information are based on speculations and rumors. We recommend you to take this with a pinch of salt and wait for the official launch.
