The POCO M5 4G will be launched next month under the M-series from POCO India. According to 91mobiles, an industry source predicts that POCO’s M-series smartphone will launch in early September. The POCO M5 4G is the company’s first smartphone in its M5 series. Moreover, the upcoming POCO M5 4G will feature a gaming-oriented MediaTek Helio G99 chip under the hood.
Recently, POCO teased on social media platforms that they are working on an Helio G99-powered device. This suggests that the upcoming M-series smartphone is a successor of the POCO M4 Pro, announced in India a few months ago.

Further, 91mobiles revealed some key specifications about the upcoming smartphone and claims that the base variant of the POCO M5 4G smartphone will be priced under Rs 15,000.
POCO M5 4G Specifications
The POCO M5 4G will feature a 6.58-inch Full HD+ LCD display panel. Hopefully, the smartphone will offer a 90Hz refresh rate or 120Hz. There are rumors that the smartphone will be powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G99 processor and at least 6GB of RAM.
POCO M5 4G is expected to pack a 5000mAh battery. According to reports, it will support 33W fast charging. The phone might also feature a chic-leather-like rear panel.
POCO’s upcoming smartphones might come with a side-mounted fingerprint reader and come with Android 12. It is likely that the company will release teasers for its upcoming launch very soon. The POCO M5 has already passed FCC and NBTC certifications, which means that it will launch in other global markets as well shortly.
