With an increasing market of Android smart tv in India, many smartphone brands started launching smart TVs in the Indian market. The latest entrant is SLED 4K smart TV which comes from Realme. At present, the Realme SLED 4K has been launched only in the 55-inch model. Realme is claiming this is the world’s first SLED 4K Smart TV.

To develop this World’s first SLED Tv, Realme has worked with the chief scientist of SPD Technology (Spectral Power Distribution), John Rooymans. The TV has 108 percent coverage of the NTSC colour gamut and TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification. As per the company’s claim, the NTSC value of SLED is much better than standard LEDs and even some QLEDs, allowing the TV to deliver more colours.
The TV makes use of RGB backlighting Technology and it uses the RGB light (Red, Green, and Blue) for creating the White light. While most LED TVs including QLED use a blue backlight which is then turned to white, Realme SLED uses RGB for the initial stage, hence reducing the harmful effects of blue light and providing higher colour purity.
The smart TV comes with seven display modes. The TV has 9.5mm bezels and it features an all-metal stand, providing durability and a premium look.
Powering the Realme Smart TV SLED 4K is a MediaTek quad-core processor with 1 GB RAM and 16GB internal storage. The smart TV comes with Android TV 9 software. The 55-inch cinematic display has been provided with a 4K resolution of 3,840×2160 pixels and offers a screen-to-body ratio of 94.6%. The TV supports HDR10+ and HLG which offers amazing picture quality. The model comes with quad 24W stereo speakers to give quality sound and also supports Dolby.
In addition to this, the Realme Smart TV SLED 4K includes 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI ports (including ARC), and USB ports. It also comes with a Prime Video, Netflix, YouTube, Google Play, and a smart home control center.
