Realme has slashed the prices of the Realme 6 and Realme 6i in India. The Realme 6 was launched in India in three memory versions – 4GB/64GB priced at Rs 12,999, 6GB/128GB priced at Rs 14,999 and 8GB/128GB priced at Rs 16,999.
However, after the GST hike, the prices of the smartphones in India went up, taking the price of Realme 6 4GB/64GB variant to Rs 14,999, 6GB/64 variant to 15,999 and 8GB/128GB model to Rs 17,999. But, now with the latest price cut, the 4GB RAM model is now down to Rs 13,999, 6GB + 64GB model to Rs 14,999, 6GB + 128GB model to Rs 15,999 and the 8GB RAM version costs Rs 16,999. It is available in Comet Blue and Comet White colour options.
The Realme 6i, on the other hand, was launched in India last July. The base model of the Realme 6i with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage was priced at Rs 12,999 and the 6GB/64GB variant was priced at Rs 14,999. Now, with the price cut, the Realme 6i 4GB RAM and 64GB storage model is priced at Rs 12,999 and 6GB RAM and 64GB storage costs Rs 13,999. It comes in Eclipse Black and Lunar White colours.
Realme 6 Specifications
Realme 6 comes with a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen comes with a 90Hz refresh rate along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
Under the hood, the device is powered by MediaTek Helio G90T SoC and it is available in 4GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB and 8GB/128GB RAM and storage variants.
In the camera department, the Realme 6 gets a total of four cameras at the rear. This includes a 64-megapixel primary lens with f/1.72 aperture, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, 2-megapixel portrait lens, and 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, the phone bears a 16-megapixel front camera.
Amongst other specifications, the phone runs Realme UI based on Android 10 OS. Powering the phone is a massive 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. Lastly, the connectivity features include dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, USB Type-C port and dual-SIM support.
Realme 6i Specifications
The Realme 6i houses an LCD panel of 6.5-inch. The punch-hole display screen offers a 20:9 aspect ratio, Full HD+ 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and it is flanked with Gorilla Glass 3+ panel.
The Realme 6i is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T 12nm processor and ARM Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. For RAM and storage, the handset offers up to 6GB RAM, up to 64GB storage, and a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256GB. It boots with Android 10 OS and Realme UI skin.
Realme 6i’ rear-facing quad-camera setup has a primary lens of 48-megapixel with an aperture of f/1.8, an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.3 aperture, a 2-megapixel macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. At the front, the phone is fitted with a 16-megapixel (f/2.0) selfie snapper.
The 4300mAh battery of the Realme 6i can be charged with the 30W fast charging tech. It has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and it also supports face unlock. The other features that have been added to the device are Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, USB Type C, and 3.5mm audio jack. The phone measures 162.1×74.8×8.9-9.6mm and it weighs 191 grams.
