Realme 6 & Realme X2 new variants launched in India: Price, availability, specifications

Realme has announced the new variant of the Realme 6 and Realme X2 in India. The Realme 6 was announced May in three variants: 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 128GB. Now, the company has unveiled the 6GB + 64GB variant. Realme X2, on the other hand, gets a new 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. To recall, Realme X2 made its debut in India last year in 4GB+64GB, 6GB+128GB and 8GB+128GB variants.

Realme 6 Series Teaser

The Realme 6 6GB + 64GB variant will be available for purchase starting 12 am on July 17 at Rs. 15,999 with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.

Realme X2 new variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage also unveiled. However, the price of this new model is not revealed and is scheduled to go on sale from July 21. The variants alongside all other variants will be up for grabs on Flipkart and Realme India Store. 

Realme 6 Specifications

Realme 6 has a 6.5-inch Full HD+ display with a screen resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The screen comes with a 90Hz refresh rate along with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Powering the device is a MediaTek Helio G90T SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage.

In the camera department, the Realme 6 gets a total of four cameras at the rear. This includes a 64-megapixel primary lens with f/1.72 aperture, 8-megapixel wide-angle lens with f/2.3 aperture, 2-megapixel portrait lens, and 2-megapixel macro shooter. For selfies, the phone bears a 16-megapixel front camera.

Amongst other specifications, the phone runs Realme UI based on Android 10 OS. Powering the phone is a massive 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. 

Connectivity options include dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, USB Type-C port, and dual-SIM support.

Realme X2 specifications

The Realme X2 comes with a 6.4-inch full HD+ Super AMOLED display of 2340×1080 pixels resolution with 91.9% screen to body ratio. Under the hood, it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC and it is backed by a 4300mAh battery with 30W VOOC Flash Charge 4.0.

In the camera department, the Realme X2 flaunts a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main camera, an 8MP wide-angle camera, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro lens.

Software-wise, it runs Realme UI-topped on Android 10 OS and offers connectivity options such as USB Type-C, 3.5mm jack, Bluetooth v5.0, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi.
