Realme is gearing up to launch a new smartphone in India under the Realme 6 series. It has been further tipped to us that the Realme 6i will be nothing but a rebranded version of Realme 6s. Take a look at the Realme 6i smartphone, its specifications and features known so far.
As per a report by OnPhones, it looks like the Realme 6i could be launched in India with the moniker Realme 6s. To recall, the company had launched the Realme 6s in the European markets with a price tag of 199 Euros (approx. Rs 16,510) for the lone 4GB + 64GB model.
The report also revealed a poster of the Realme 6i at a retail store in India which suggests the key specs of the upcoming Realme phone. As per the leaked poster image, the Realme 6i will arrive in Black and White colors. It revealed that the handset will have a 90Hz display. Further, it is confirmed to pack a MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, and a 48-megapixel camera. According to the source, the Realme 6i will be available with 4GB RAM + 64GB native storage with an option to expand the storage via microSD card slot.
As far as the pricing of the Realme 6i in India is concerned, it is speculated that the Realme 6i could be priced below Rs 16,000.
Realme 6s Specifications
To recollect, the Realme 6s launched in the European countries with a 6.5-inch LCD display with punch-hole and support for 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a resolution of 2400 x 1800 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 3+ protection and 20:9 aspect ratio. The phone runs Android 10-based Realme UI and comes with a side fingerprint sensor.
It is fuelled by MediaTek’s Helio G90T 12nm processor which is assisted by an ARM Mali-G76 3EEMC4 GPU. It has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with an option to expand storage up to 256GB. It is backed by a 4300mAh battery that supports 30W Flash Charge.
In terms of optics, Realme 6s will have a four cameras on the rear that includes a 48-megapixel camera with 0.8μm pixel size, an 8-megapixel 119° ultra-wide angle lens with an f/2.3 aperture, a 2-megapixel 4cm macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.4, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has a 16-megapixel wide-angle lens and a portrait lens for selfies and video calling.
Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5, GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, NFC, USB Type C and 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 162.1 x 74.8 x 8.9-9.6mm and it weighs 191 grams.
